New - Taffeta Petticoats
Ladies going to parties and other events who are not regular dancers often ask us for cheaper petticoat options that don't involve scratchy dress net. We've been developing a new petticoat made from luxuriously soft and slinky taffeta - a classic fabric often worn in the 50's. These should be available in September but meantime, pick up a trial bargain form our Sale Bargains Page.
Next clothes stall event - calling all Kingcats fans!
We'll be bringing our clothes stall with sale rail to the fabulous Thorngate Hall ballroom in Gosport, Hampshire on Saturday 25th September and with the much-loved Kingcats playing live and Wild Wolfie Smith on the decks, it'll be a brilliant night. Just £8 on the door. If you haven't been to Thorngate it's worth a trip - super friendly atmosphere with an enormous sprung dance floor where you'll see everything from strolls to swing jive with lindy hop, rock'n'roll, mo-jive and bopping to name but a few.
We can't bring as much as we would to the weekenders so if there's anything in particular you'd like to see please e-mail at least a week in advance. Cash only at gigs so come prepared to bag a bargain from the sale rail!

Dresses - new styles
By popular request, we've just started to make dresses that cover the shoulders/upper arms which have a pretty sweetheart neckline. It'll take a while to develop the pattern into more sizes and as usual we'll never have a huge stock of dresses (keeps them exclusive) so please check periodically.

SHIRTS - We're offering £5 off of the embroidered-to-order price of some gents shirts, whilst stocks last. A great time for a summer shirt treat or buy early for Christmas! Check out the 175 red with black trim, the 185 black with yellow trim and the 917 shirts in plain white and plain black. At the moment, there's something in all sizes from XSmall through to 4XL.
Check out the current Sale Bargains page for one-off sizes, fabrics that are running out and trial garments. Some skirts even have free tops so it's always worth a look
Embroideries
To speed up orders for embroidered shirts, tops, blouses or shoe bags, if you don't want to wait until after your 7 day statutory right-to-cancel period elapses before we start work we've made it easy for you to simply tick a box at the check-out.
E-Mail Addresses
Occasionally our replies to questions via e-mail bounce back to us as undeliverable. Not exclusively, but AOL, BT Internet and Yahoo addresses seem to be affected most often. It's very frustrating as we always reply but sometimes just can't get through. It could be your spam filter is rejecting our reply. If you haven't had a reply within a few days then please contact us again with another e-mail address or a land-line phone number.
